The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria was founded in April,1954 with several aims and
objectives, some of which are as stated below;
*To bring Muslim throughout Nigeria into closer union inculcate in them the true Islamic
spirit of brotherhood and absolute faith in Allah as the only basis for achieving peace among mankind.
*To establish an Islamic ummah governed by the principles and rules of the shariah.
* To encourage the study of the Noble Qur'aan as a noble book and the Arabic language as the Lingua franca of the Islamic world.
*To promote the general welfare of Muslims and safeguard their interests and rights in the community.

Inroduction about muslim students on campus
[Q3:110] You (true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] and his Sunnah) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have Faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh and rebellious against Allâh's Command). Therefore Muslims knows how to engage in conversation and begin to please Allaah. Muslim on campus is hereby ready to contribute positively to the life of others & the society as large. You don't relent on what you know and how you can be successful on campus with your fellow crew.
